Yet, it seems nowadays it's almost more expense and work to can your own, though I would definitely say home-canned is much more healthy! I'...Oh, what a precious photo of baby Lorelei!<br /><br />I've not done any canning in quite a while but I did dehydrate some celery recently. I'm sure I wasted more electricity than the price of the celery!<br /><br />Now you have me craving a home-grown tomato! :D<br /><br />Yeah, I'll be surprised if we get measurable snow, too, although I just heard we could get as much as 9 inches.
