We passed this top mural one day last month...I have had it scaled down since the day I took it, but have not gotten around to posting it. It was a drive-by shot...could have been better but not to bad from a moving vehicle.

Icannot remember if I have ever published them...I know I had it planned for July 4th and think I forgot them. But I may have published them later.

Actually, that they can do them on any scale. I don't have a lick of talent when it comes to drawing....my husband does and so do the girls. Not me.

Not me.I even find myself loving a lot of the graffiti on the sides of trains...I keep wanting to photograph some of it and post it but am afraid I would be posting gang symbols. So I restrain myself.
I always love looking at these wall murals.
ReplyDeleteFine shots of these interesting murals. I admire people who have the talent to draw and paint on such a large scale. Nice post.
ReplyDeleteThese are neat! Love the flag. I like train graffiti, too and never thought about what most of it means or if I should post it...hmmm.
ReplyDeleteI always enjoy murals like this, Rose. Thanks for much for posting these.

P.S. How's the BABY????
Oh you're right about the gang symbols - good thing you thought about that!
ReplyDeleteThe murals are really cool!
I too wish I had this kind of freehand talent but I also know from experience it can be done using a projector.
ReplyDeleteI was once a PTA President and the art teacher at the school asked for help in getting volunteers to paint our cafeteria walls with 'paintings' of the greats - Monet, Picaso, etc. We did it using a projector. Kinda like painting by the numbers. The walls were wonderful. I hope they are still there. :)
These are great pictures of murals. I wonder if the flag mural has been there since 1976.
