A bit of randomness...

1.  I started a couple Pineapple quilt blocks...I wish I could just do totally scrappy and every fabric be a different  fabric.  But for now these will do.

 2.  This is my first shot of a robin this year...I never take very many pics of them and I don't know why.  I hope to change that this summer.

3.  When I was in high school, I liked to try to sketch stuff.  I never was very good.  But it was still fun.  Due to Genie's influence, I have been making the attempt again.  Oh, I don't spend much time on it...I seem to do better if I just sit down and devote a few minutes to it.  I used the pic here to sketch it from.

4. We are watching the second episode of Little Big Shots...this little girl became famous on this video and she was on tonight's show.  This is my new favorite show.   Steve Harvey is wonderful with the children.

5.  Spring is creeping in...just a bit at a time.

  3. I finally saw my first Robin this year. Others all around me were reporting Robin sightings, and I hadn't seen one.

  6. Spring is creeping in here also since we have had a mild March SO far... However, it is supposed to go down to 33 on the 20th.... Yipes....

I haven't watched that show --but have seen it advertised... Glad you are enjoying it.

Your Robin is GREAT... I cannot draw --so I'm one who admires someone who can.... We had a FAT ROBIN around all winter. He thought he was in charge of the bird feeders... ha

    Beautiful quilt square.. Great colors.

    Hugs,
    Betsy

  7. Your quilting blocks look so good and precise. Nice
Yes Springs is poking out here and there. We have many flowering trees blooming and the Daffs but so much is still in winter mode. It just makes Spring fun.
Our poor greenhouse. We went out early this morning and together we managed to get it all back together. Bob is so good at figuring things out--the whys and wherefores. It was too windy last night to even attempt anything. All the plants and new seedlings are ok. Whew

  8. Your blocks look perfect. I think I have a quilt of my mom's upstairs that is of this pattern. I will have to go look. You have share a lot of good shots of things that I enjoyed seeing.

  11. Your quilt blocks are really nice! I'd never have the patience for quilting. :)
Love your signs of spring too. We're having them as well, even though the temperatures don't seem so springy.

  13. What a sweet sketch of the robin. Your robins are different to ours. Ours are smaller with a different red on the chest. Beautiful quilt. It will be an heirloom when you get it finished. All the best, Bonny
