North of Boston we got over 30" of snow in that storm, and the state essentially closed down for 7 days, and limped for another 7, with the governor issuing a "no driving" order. It was fantastic, I was a single girl living in an apartment 4 blocks from the ocean, and all I remember of it was fun, fun, fun. That was not true for most of the people impacted by the storm. There were lives lost, homes destroyed, the fishing fleet was crippled.

My car got buried by the plow cleaning our lot, and I didn't see it again until the end of March and didn't care. I took the train into Boston for work, so didn't need it. Carefree days they were!Angela Michaud-Mourerhttps://www.blogger.com/profile/17064554235948791546noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-162042727452052782.post-24494215616174700802011-01-30T00:42:59.632-05:002011-01-30T00:42:59.632-05:00Another lovely farm shot Rose!

It hadn't snowed that much in almost 30 years - the year my son was born in between two blizzards.
Of course there they don't have snow often so things were at a standstill for a few days.
It was 45 here today and much of our snow melted. Like you said - until next week.Carlettahttps://www.blogger.com/profile/11178161514195582965noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-162042727452052782.post-85457915569429795762011-01-29T23:45:21.356-05:002011-01-29T23:45:21.356-05:00This past week we dropped below zero, and it was v...This past week we dropped below zero, and it was very cold! We have been having weekly snowstorms, and another predicted for this week! It is a good thing that I like snow, but it is best when I can stay home and not need to head to the office! I know when my eldest about 2yrs we had record colds 9 degrees F. It's all relative isn't it.
