Bridgeton covered bridge one more time

I know I have posted more than enough photos of this bridge, but just had to show what I could do by using the photo software and all I did was use the fill flash. The top is the before photo and the bottom one is after fill flash. In one sense, it don't look real, but that can be good or bad depending on the mood I am in. I really like it most of the time, though I think it has more the look of an old time post card than a real photograph. Be sure and click to enlarge--it is amazing to me what that does for some photos. Some I look at and can tell that I really like even before, but when it is opened up it is just amazing.

  1. I agree - enlarge for sure - all that water. I bet in good weather the bridge and area is a very serene place to visit.
Two or three blogs I've visited this week have talked about redoing photos - I need to give it a try.

  5. I love to see these covered bridges as I have never come across one over here. As for both your pictures and the altering in the software.. I think the bottom one is very nice. If I had to remember a view... I think I'd imagine in my minds eye the details and colours.. this second picture would be more the view I would picture in my head.

  6. Lovely bridge! I have been "playing" with my photos too and actually created a separate blog to show what can be done.

  7. I think that I've been to that bridge before and have pictures of it! Is it around Parke County? I hope you aren't too near the flooding.
