A touch of yellow

These are from Illinois also. I love the color yellow...lately yellow shows up a lot in my quilts. Well, they did show up in my quilts...I have not been in a quilting mood in a while. I keep thinking I want to start something but never can decide what. So I just stick with photography.

  1. Beautiful photos! I really love the first one.
I understand what you mean about starting something. My problem is I have no talent for doing anything so mostly I just waste time.

  2. I'm glad that I'm not the only one who gets "quilter's block"! Maybe it is the humid Indiana weather. I want to start something but can't seem to get moving on any of the projects that I need to start...2 are for Christmas gifts and that isn't all that far away. The sunflowers are lovely. I like yellow, too. Maybe you should quilt that picture :-)

  3. Hi Rose, you asked about the poems I am quoting on my blog, George Skaife is a 92 year old neighbour of mine. Sadly his eye sight isn't very good but I do read comments to him when I visit.
I'll pass on your comment, he will be thrilled.

  4. Pretty vibrant yellow flower. One thing about the color yellow, it never fails to bring out the refreshing feel.
    Beautiful shots :)
