Early summer vs late summer
Remember when Indiana had all the flooding at the beginning of summer? The top photo was taken June 10 just a few days after the flooding. I don't remember ever seeing the water this high at Mansfield.
The bottom picture I took September 10--just a few days ago. This time, the water level in the creek is lower I ever remember seeing it.

What a contrast, Rose! Isn't the weather weird this year?
ReplyDeleteI wish we could have had less in the spring and a have some of it now! It is still so dry here. Our water levels are really down, too.
ReplyDeleteIt sure is muddy in the top photo. We could use a little rain. They talked like we would get a lot from the hurricane but we only got about a quarter of an inch.
ReplyDeleteHi there, Rose ... had a nice tour through your latest photos; very interesting and those apples down there ... lets wait for the cider! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks for the visit and the encouraging words.
Great comparison shots Rose!
ReplyDeleteWouldn't mind wading in the water in that second one.
The weather is certainly strange at times. It continues to be very dry here.
ReplyDeleteThat is the way with nature. We need rain, but don't want the top photo!
