Today's churches
Churches are another thing I love to photograph. These are from the trip...I almost wish I had asked to turn around and go back where I got the last photo shown. There were two of these churches, side by side and the quick glimpse I caught of them they seemed to be identical. I was lucky to get this of just one of them, but I will always wonder what the story behind the churches are.

OMG! I love them, and plan on doing a photography book on churches in a 50 mile radius of my house;)
ReplyDeleteThese are awesome Rose!
ReplyDeleteI sure envy all you saw on your trip - great stuff.
These are beautiful! Interesting that there were two just alike.
ReplyDeleteNow you have a reason to go back :-) I love that last one because it looks like the little country church that my dad belonged to in northern Ohio. I'm always drawn to little country churches. They just seem to have a history and story you want to know.
ReplyDeleteA very interesting series. I like the last one especially well. Nice shooting.
ReplyDeleteI like to photograph churches, too. Rose. The attention to detail on them is usually wonderful. In fact, this week's Sky Watch will be a church. ;-)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE how all three steeples in your photos are different.
Hope you have some more churches coming!
These are so quaint and must have an interesting history.
ReplyDeleteI too love photographing churches and the ones around here are also very interesting.
I wonder why they would be the same, side by side?! Hmmm, interesting! They ARE really nice!
ReplyDeleteI like churches as well, these are beautiful
ReplyDeleteThanks for visiting my blog and leaving a comment, which led me to your blog.
ReplyDeleteI enjoyed reading your "about me" because I can identify with most of it!!
I like this post about churches! I like to photograph them too, and maybe I'll do a post on mine.
Come back and visit when you have time.
