Another day with a second post....

Just realized earlier that this is actually the first post for today...don't ask me how I got so mixed up. Yesterday was not such a good day...had a BAD headache all day...and sore from something else.
I posted these at one time on my other blog. They were taken long before I had a digital camera.
These are scans from slides which was developed in October of 1994. This was just a single old tree along the side of a country road. I could not believe my eyes when I spotted these babies up there.

I think this last baby is just soooo cute.

Those are just adorable! How very cute! The photos are wonderful. I just found your comment about your daughter's rose quilt and it is beautiful! I would like to know how to do that "quilt as you go" method of putting a quilt together.

This is such an appealing series. You've right the last shot is in a class all by itself. Excellent capture of these cute little creatures.

Great Raccoon shots, reminds me of when our neighbors had raccoons living in their Catalpa tree.

Animal babies all look cute. Now I understand why you hoped to see a baby camel. Actually I didn't find any there.

Yes he is so cute. Have not even let myself think about scanning. Have 40 years of photography before digital....too much to think about.

What an eye you have to have seen these little guys peeking over the edge of that tree. I love the compositions of these pics and that last one is to die for. That face has little devil written all over it!

Raccoons behave as if they would like to be domestic pets but from what I have herd I think I will pass up on the pleasure.

Most baby animals are cute, but really...is there any cuter than a baby raccoon? I don't think so. What a great capture!

Oh, Rose, these are WONDERFUL photos! How fortunate youw ere to come upon this scene, and to have a camera AND telephoto in your hand!!!! I have never been able to get closeups of anything in nature because I have always used 35 mm till recently and the only decent telephoto we have for it weighs a ton, so you have to set up with a tripod, and that just doesn't work for impromptu shots. BUT....one of these days! :-) Anyway, I love these pictures! The babies are precious!

I agree with you about Sky Watch and My World...it's hard because you want to look at dozens of other blogs to see what photos they posted too, and it takes a lot of time. I try to do it every week, but sometimes it's hard. Thanks so much for coming by my blog and commenting!
