For those of you familiar with Frankenstein and Free Ride by The Edgar Winter Group, let me assure you this is nothing like those. If I had not actually had the album in my hands and played it myself, I would never have believed it was the Edgar Winter Group. But then I was never a great fan of theirs....I could listen to them. But I either tend to love a song with all my heart and will listen to it over and over, or else I don't care a thing about listening to it.

Looks to me like your skies have been just as dark as ours!
ReplyDeleteI think I must need a nap or a coffee or something. I looked at your top photo and thought, Funny how the only leaves left on the bush are right at the very tips. Then I saw they were bird-shapes...duh! I'm a constant music listener but have neglected the EWG, too, so it was especially nice to read your thoughts about the clip (which I like) and how it goes with the photos. This was a very nice "multi-media post" and very enjoyable.
ReplyDeleteLovely winter skies! These pictures are dark and dramatic and quite lovely...you should join the meme Skywatch Fridays, and post something like this every week, if you are interested. The link is on my blog if you want to check it out.
ReplyDeleteMarie
You didn't link to Sky Watch this week...
ReplyDeleteI LOVE the last one - the color, the vastness of the shot - very nice.
Those are beautiful Rose. I think the blur in the middle picture makes it unique.
ReplyDeleteNice fall looking shots. Winter is just around the corner now. It was 26° (-3.3c) this morning! I like the drive-by landscapes.
ReplyDeleteI've never heard of the musicians you mentioned. But anyway, I enjoyed the pictures. I'm seeing lots of crows here lately.
