Things on the horizon...

Please click to enlarge for better viewing...
We are trying to take advantage of the last warm days by going on a few little drives. I have more autumn colors to display, but thought I would show these shots first. Do they make you feel as lonely as they make me feel?
And then this one below is just another way of spelling w-o-r-k to me....I bet the farmers have been going from daylight till dark.

Beautiful shots! The distance does give a loniness and endlessness to the perspective.

All huge bare fields make me feel lonely - nice shots though!!!

Tiny subjects in a large expanse of open space do tend to feel lonely and isolated. These are excellent examples. Nice series.

Reminds me of "amber waves of grain."
Is that first one of a cemetery or do my eyes deceive me?

It is a cemetery, and it is quite a bit farther away than it seems in this picture.
