I have seen pheasants out at the strip pits before, but this is the first one I have seen out there in several years. This is just two photos of the same bird...it was running away from me and this is the best I could do. I was still thrilled to capture it at all.
I like the 2nd photo. It looks so natural.
ReplyDeleteFabulous captures!!
ReplyDeleteWow...you did have a good day! I've never seen a pheasant.
ReplyDeleteYou had a great day with your new camera didn't you? I've never had a chance to take a picture of a pheasant.
ReplyDeleteRose, like Neal, I've never captured a picture of a Pheasant before. Gorgeous pictures!!!

I think you did a fabulous job of capturing a rather close view of this beautiful bird! Nice shots.
ReplyDeleteYou got some great shots! Pheasants are so neat to have around. Where I used to live I'd often hear the the males "crowing" from their cover.
ReplyDeleteRose, you are really getting good at capturing birds with your camera. Great pictures.
ReplyDeleteO LOVE these...I can feel your frustration as you try to get a great shot. ;-) MAN oh man, I sure can feel the frustration! LOL
ReplyDeleteLovely captures.
ReplyDeleteThe shutter was open 5 sec. in the first and 8 sec. in the last.
I used tripod and remote realeaser.
