Sepia scenes
Finally...
I thought of something else for your viewing pleasure besides barns. Not that there is anything wrong with barns...at least for me they are always great. But I realize some do not share my love of them so wanted to actually do a sepia scene post without one.
I kept trying to think what I had that would do and it finally dawned on me to use a picture or two from the Newport Hill Climb that takes place the first weekend in October every year. I have posted regular color photo of the bottom truck here. And I used it for Paintbox Pictures here. You have to scroll down for the version there though.
If you want to join, or just see more Sepia Scenes, click on the badge at the top of this post.
As an afterthought, I got to thinking about texture so went and played with these two photos adding texture...just thought I would show you how it altered them.

Rose, these are great sepia pictures. I like the barns, but the trucks are neat too.
ReplyDeleteGood ones, Rose! Great photo choices for sepia tones. You are really on the ball today. I haven't even thought abut what I'll use for my Sepia Scenes. ;-)
ReplyDeleteThese look great in sepia and I love your barns too, so don't stop with them.
ReplyDeleteLove the truck!! But your barns are cool, too. How about a truck in front of a barn - lol!
ReplyDeleteFine sepia toned pictures of these great looking trucks. The textured effect is interesting. Nice work.
ReplyDeleteLovely sepia shots, the pictures goes very well with the sepia tone :)
ReplyDeleteOh Rose - NIIIIICE!!! I love these shots!!!
ReplyDeleteRose, do you know when Sepia Scenes opens - isn't it on Wed? I thought it was Wed, but it never opens til late Weds & it closes early the same day. It doesn't give us time really to look around at all the sepia entries.
ReplyDeleteLove the sepia pictures, Rose.. That truck brings back memories. My family never had a truck, but there were alot around that looked just like that one.
ReplyDeleteGreat post.
Hugs,
Betsy

Fantastic sepia shots! The vehicles look genuinely old.
ReplyDeleteWhat's not to like about barns? '~)These cars are sooooo cherry! I can't begin to imagine all the work that went into restoring them. Beautifully done, you and them.
