Sepia Scenes

To join Mary the Teach and Sepia Scenes, click on the baby badge above. That's my first granddaughter Lorelei. (Pronounced with the long i sound on the end.)
We ran in to the hospital today to see the baby...it rained the whole way there and almost the whole way home. We took a little detour on the way home and the barn above is a drive-by shot. If you enlarge it you can see the puddles in the road. Water was everywhere...most creeks we crossed were almost to the flood stage, and any low places anywhere had water standing in them. The wind has been blowing so hard it almost sounds like a train...and yes, I did go look for a tornado.

Tomorrow the rain should be stopped. Let's hope that it is because the baby should get to go home then.

  2. Hmmmmm you must be sending your rain and wind to PA, it is predicted that the rain will be tonight and the winds up to 50mph tomorrow! Our snow is almost totally gone...I will miss it! Thanks for sharing the neat pics, puddles and all!

  11. The baby is being...a baby, and beautiful as she sleeps. The simple lines of the barn are well enhanced by the sepia. The shape of the barn hasn't changed in centuries, so the antique sepia bronze keeps the character of this ageless structure intact...

  16. Ah....she is just so sweet! Lovely in sepia, as well :-) What a great badge! The wind here was terrible, too...I thought about tornados as well. I even recorded the wind and the way it was blowing the trees. Scary.
