Love this barn. It looks like it is standing by sheer force of will. AND, the bare tree against the white barn door - what a lucky point of view. It looks like a little winter painting on the wall of the barn.
So sad that it is going to probably fall soon. What I love about it is the little tree perfectly framed on the white door! I hope you got pics of the silos behind the barn as well.
I really enjoy photos of barns. Too bad so many of the old ones are being allowed to tumble down. There is something a little sad about this one I think. Sepia suits it well.
Looks like this guy is not long for the physical world. In fact , it seems to be falling apart already. Too bad. But good that you caught it before it was gone.
When you enlarge your photo the pattern on the roof is very interesting and you were so lucky with the shot of the tree. With the white background framing the tree that is really great. I just love photos of new babies also, yours is so sweet. The quilt you made is beautiful. Thanks for sharing these wonderful photos.
Thank you for visiting my blog...I hope you like it enough to take the time to comment. I enjoy comments so much, and always try to make a return visit.

This was a drive-by shot...the tree being framed by the door was pure luck.

ReplyDeleteGreat old barn. Wonderful shapes textures i this photo: the wooden sides, metal roof, holes in the barn's wall. Really nice!
ReplyDeleteThere's a theme on this blog, could it be...barns? Wonderful! I'm going to have to take a drive out in the country and a barn to photograph!
