Hi Rose This is a beautie... do folk ever make these barns into homes? My sons partner Viki is here now and when she saw this she said how much she would like to live in something such as this.. fix it up good, add all the rooms and such. Saying that with Viki having 3 children of her own and now expecting with our son something as big as this would go down well.. ha!
This is a fine looking barn. I like the decorative window treatment very much. I'm wondering if the overhang of the front roof permitted some kind of pulled for loading or unloading hay. A fabulous barn to spot and shoot.
Thank you for visiting my blog...I hope you like it enough to take the time to comment. I enjoy comments so much, and always try to make a return visit.
The more I visit blogs the more I recognise the typical American Big Barn - red seems to be the favoured colour.

ReplyDeleteThat's a very interesting roof, with that "doo-dad" on the top, whatever it is. Very classic red!!
ReplyDeleteStunning barn, Rose. I love the colour, the overhang, the attached side wing.... What a pretty barn!
