  1. Hi Rose...
Sorry I've missed the last 2 postings.. Sunday was mad as we had our lads and the partners overs.... they was also the 5 children to entertain and feed as well... which is always a pleasure.. our youngest son Sam as settled down nicely with a girl who has twin boy aged 4... I've show then out and about walking with me before... and then there's her daughter aged 6... Sam and Vicky are also expecting their own baby anytime now... Vicky says that is her last and with having the others to look after thats seems fine with Sam.. :o)
Our CaraJade had stopped over with us both on Saturday night and Sunday night... we enjoyed her all to ourselves yesterday which was great.

Anyhow it as been great catching up on your pictures.. love then all...

  5. These are great shots Rose and I love the thistle below!
It's been a busy time here -garden and yardwork - I'm so far behind in blog comments.
Looking forward to the Lorelei report. Cindy said this week Lucy was getting so big. They change so quickly. I'm glad Lorelei is close so you have the chance to watch that change on a regular basis.
Yes, the barns are about an hour away in the county where I was raised. I think I took pictures of about four or five that I found. I'm posting more this week - sepia and sky watch I think.

  6. Rose, I have never taken time to look at the beauty in all of the 'roadside thistles/flowers'.... They really are pretty!!!!! Amazing how I've overlooked them all of these years.
    Hugs,
    Betsy
