This is one of the few good pictures from Sunday...it is such a clean and cared for barn. I cannot help but wonder what is done in that barn with all those windows. It looked even better in person than in this picture....I think because I was feeling its size. And don't you just love that little bit of tree in the edge of the photo...on the left side. Sort of like a monster sneaking into the picture. Oh well, I am too lazy this morning to crop it.
Roger just left to go fishing with a buddy...I am not sure what I am doing. I don't have Lorelei. It will be tempting to go see her before the day is over. I forgot to tell that one day last week she took her burp/drool cloth and tried to wipe my mouth--twice. There is no doubt in my mind but that is what she was trying to do.
What a beautiful barn!!
ReplyDeleteI love the windows.....I wonder if it was originally used for drying tabacco????
I would love to go in that barn to see.
ReplyDeleteWhat a super barn. Lots of huge barns like that do have all those little windows. I don't know why.
ReplyDeleteI really like the quilt you are making. MB
This is a wonderfully kept example of a barn! All those windows must indicate multiple floors within. Anyway, it's a fine barn picture.
ReplyDeleteThat is a lovely barn, and, while I love the red ones, it's neat that they didn't feel obligated to make this one red, but went with the stately gray. Suits those windows, whatever they're for!
ReplyDeleteThis is a neat barn, but I, too, wonder what the purpose of all the windows are. It's unusual to see a barn that's not red.
ReplyDeleteRose, that really is a gorgeous barn. Usually they are not that pretty. The only thing which would make it prettier to me is if it were red.... (You know me and red!!! ha)
ReplyDeleteI'll bet you went to see Lorelei today... You miss her, don't you?
Hugs,
Betsy
I am never tired of images of (old) barns... they have something special!
ReplyDeleteRose: That is one big barn, nicely captured.
ReplyDeleteI looks really big. The farm must be big also.
ReplyDeleteIt looks like a monstrous barn...and very well taken of. What's the overhang on the roof for?
ReplyDeleteNice color...well cared for! Would look great with a quilt square on it :-)
