It's finished!

I worked on this in minutes here and there while I was sick.
I think I would have done a better job of the quilting had I waited until I really felt like it. I would sew a while and cough a while. But all in all, it will make a good snuggle quilt for Lorelei.
I used this wild jungle print on the back...and a couple others to go with it.
I thought Lorelei would enjoy looking at either side.

  6. That quilt is gorgeous, Rose. Lorelei will cherish it FOREVER. It's neat that you made the two sides so different. She'll enjoy BOTH.

You are a talented lady, Rose... I'm SO impressed.

  7. This is so pretty! I'm going to try something similar for a baby quilt I need to make....a scrappy log cabin with a nice kid's fabric as the centers. I love the colors in this. So cheerful and bright. Your quilting looks great. I'm going to finally take a class in machine quilting in November. Maybe I'll work up some confidence and learn some useful hints. I recognize that jungle print...I think I've have a bit of it!

  9. I have always wanted to do a quilt Rose.... yours is beautiful and I'm sure will become a family treasure. I'm knitting like mad at the moment... all the kids have picked stuff from the pattern books I have and then I have now started knitting Christmas stocking for them all... I showed some of my knitting a week or two back..
