Another good day

This is a big barn that I had not seen till the other day when we took the back roads home. There is a road we have passed I don't know how many times...I said something about it and Roger said to take it. I got 2 or 3 other good photos from that one little side trip.

Today was another good day for Roger! We went to Terre Haute to pick up the ham for Thanksgiving. Roger is the only one that really like turkey, so we just fix ham. A Cumberland Gap ham to be exact. I have been getting them for several years and never been disappointed.

They are actually processed in Middlesboro, KY....that is just across the state line from Cumberland Gap, TN which is where I grew up.

I always enjoy coming here and getting my barn fix. Not to many of them where I live.

In our house, the best part of Thanksgiving dinner is the turkey sandwiches, with cranberry sauce and mayo, the next day. ~8-)

Another great barn!

It's always a pleasant surprise to happen upon a nice barn you've not seen before. This one is a winner. It is so big. A fine capture. We're doing a turkey which will be smoked (very mild smoke) at a favorite barbecue place. No more watching for the "thing" to pop up! :-)

You do great barn pictures! This looks to be a working farm, which is nice. I think I love barns as I had so much fun playing in them as a kid!

I love your barn pictures.

I like Turkey, but everyone else here likes ham and lamb.

Thanks for sending someone to my blog! :-D

It's a great idea to take new roads as you never know what wonderful treasures you'll find!

I'm glad Roger is getting better.

I like this one. Great looking barn. Reminds me of my Grandma's barn except for the roof over the door.
