This sycamore tree was just as massive in person as it appears to be in the picture. I think it would be a pleasant place to have a picnic and/or campfire. I don't think I would want to be under it in a storm.
We have some big Sycamore trees here also Rose. They really are magnificent trees... Seems like so many of the sycamores LEAN... Not sure I'd want to be on the side that is leaning in a storm... ha
I just became a grandmother for the first time. I tried to give up blogging for a while but missed it way
too much. I love having a place to share photography and little pieces of my life. Pics & Pieces is my personal active blog.

Sycamores are lovely trees, Rose. I lover their bark.
Sycamores are one of my favorite trees - the bark is just beautiful. I'd love to see this one all decked out in its leafy glory.
I always love seeing huge sycamore trees. Their whiteness just seems to gleam in the sunlight. Always so pretty.

Great post.

I like the way the branches are placed in your picture. Nice composition. It's an impressive tree.
I won't be surprised if that grand old tree has seen a few picnics!
Well captured Rose... I could see myself sitting round a camp fire there.. sharing stories with you and your Neal... what fun that would be.
A very beautiful tree, I would love to have a picnic right underneath. I love the photo.
