I think this barn could use a shot of iron or vitamins or something...and so could I.

We had the toot toot this afternoon, and boy does she keep me busy. She is just so full of life...but I did succeed in getting her to take a nice nap.
Remember how I told how much she likes to be outside? I had her outside a time or two, and I put her in her stroller and went for a walk around the block. After all that, she went to sleep fairly easy. Slept about an hour and a half...much more than she slept when she was just 5 or 6 months old.
Well, she had been up long enough to get her diaper changed and fooled around a few minutes. She went and got her jacket for me...she wanted me to know that she wanted to go outside! It was warm enough till she didn't need to it. I took her outside, but all she wants to do is go up and down the steps...so I brought her back in.
After her mom came home, I found the You Tube video of Feist singing 1, 2, 3, 4...one of Lorelei's favorite song. She came and climbed up in my lap and was really trying to sing along. Such a sweet little voice.
And she loves seeing that video of herself with the shopping cart...she just looks at us and grins with the most mischievous look in her eyes....
What is it about steps that make kids want to go up and down them all the time? :-)
ReplyDeleteNice picture of the barn.
Up & down the steps, heheheee!
ReplyDeleteWe just found out Monday that my sister is having a boy, so that'll be very different - me or mom either one have ever had a boy, so this is gonna be a challenge!
Great looking barn....makes me want to get out and find another one or two. Lorelei so active...it was be a kick to see how she handles various situations.
ReplyDeleteI must admit that there are times when I feel the way that old barn looks. And I don't have a year-old bundle of energy to keep up with!
ReplyDeleteOh how sweet, Rose... The "toot toot" is a bottle of energy... Why don't you send some of that energy down here to me????? ha
ReplyDeleteI'd love to hear her singing "One-two-three-four" sometime... Bet it is precious.
Yes--that barn needs some love. Not sure geritol will do it though... ha
Hugs,
Betsy
That poor barn will go down in a stiff breeze. Or not. I'd guess it's been hanging on for awhile. Nice photo, Rose.
ReplyDeleteKids do not have long attention-spans but they sure know what they want when they want it!
Not unlike us "old" folks!
The barn looks like it is seeing it's last days.
ReplyDeleteLorelei must be very cute singing. ;-)
Awwww . . .
ReplyDeleteI love hearing about her.
This barn definitely could use some sprucing up!
ReplyDeleteEverytime my Hubby sees one about to fall he always says 'so sad'.
I'm thinking I'll need geritol when we go to see Lily and Lucy in a few weeks. Lucy is almost walking so it will be two to keep up with. I can't imagine...
Why do babies like steps? They all do.
I had to smile while reading this... you mentioned 'You Tube' Jane and I have long used this site to entertain and teach CaraJade songs... and now we have started to do the same with our Malakai.... he cannot sing or anying as yet but he sure knows how to bounce along to the music... :O)
ReplyDeleteHave a great weekend Rose.
