I want to see the tulips pushing up through the ground...
I am ready to travel down country roads and see the red bud in bloom....
I want to walk outside and see the dogwood full of blossoms
I want to look across the alley and see my neighbor's bush colored with flowers....

It has been pouring the rain for a while now. It was dark and dreary all day, and sprinkled a little here and there. I have piddled around...on the computer, cooking, and finally I did a little sewing. I have so much more to do and have to make a couple decisions before I go any farther.
I am hoping that the Toot makes it over this way this weekend...if not we will be traveling over there next week. I just get so lonesome for her.
Yes...I want it too!!!
ReplyDeleteI can hardly wait. I think my trip this month will help the time pass.
ReplyDeleteWe're starting to see redbuds in bloom, as well as jonquils/daffodils. I think EVERYONE is anxious for spring this year!
ReplyDeleteWe are beginning our spring here and I'm enjoying seeing it in person! Yours won't be far behind!
ReplyDeleteI like your "spring" shot of the beautiful flowers. They have brightened my day!
ReplyDeleteYou're not alone in wanting Spring to arrive. We've got the rain and clouds today -- it's almost depressing. I hope you got to see Lorelei.
ReplyDeleteHi Rose, We are having a dark and dreary day here also--with rain and lots of WIND. It's definitely an inside day for us!!!!
ReplyDeleteI am anxious for Spring also... The only thing blooming here so far are our Crocuses. It won't be too long 'til the Daffodils bloom... I am SO ready!!!!!
Hope you get to see your little precious one soon.
Hugs,
Betsy
My tulips and daffodil are blooming, but it still doesn't feel like Spring. I want warm days and late evening walks. I hope your weekend brightens with a visit from Lorelei.
ReplyDeleteIt rained ALL DAY today. We're going from rain to snow, so says the weatherman. We have a winter storm watch for tomorrow, 6-12 inches of snow headed our way. I like the picture of the rose buds. They look so pretty alongside that road.
ReplyDeleteSpring blossoms... COME ON SPRING!!! =)
ReplyDeleteMe, too! I can't wait! Mostly I want sunshine and warmth and color!
ReplyDeleteBoy I am ready for spring too!!! Wish it looked like that here--it's VERY VERY COLD here this morning!
ReplyDeleteAre you saying that these pics were taken now & those blossoms are blooming now? Ya'll have such a harder winter than we do, so you deserve an early spring... but I SOOO WANT SPRING! I get so sick of the cold!
ReplyDeleteEnjoy those blooms, Rose, & lil Lorelei, too! God bless her lil heart! =)
Soon, Rose, soon. We have some flowering trees here in Stone Creek that are just beautiful...I think they're dogwoods. I love the green! And the warmth!
