Fall foliage

I just thought I would show some of the fall foliage that is now showing in our area. I don't think one single one was taken during a good time of day.
I think you will still get a good idea of how fall is unfolding.
The photos above were taken this past Thursday and the one below was taken Friday on our way to Sarah's house.
I have been pleasantly surprised with how nice the season is. I was so afraid it was going to be short and not so sweet.

    I love that last photo...I was just commenting to my husband on our walk this evening that all our color is gone now. I'll enjoy yours now.

    Gorgeous Fall colors up there, Rose... We are going to try to get to the Smokies this week sometime to see if there is color there.

    These rows of trees are just gorgeous! I love that little bit of dark red in the last picture. Each picture is just beautiful in a different way.

    This has been our first good autumn in years. It's just beautiful. Your photos show a lot of color progress in a short time. I wish the leaves would stay on the trees longer, you know? It's nice to see all the colors and having them stick around would be nicer. This year we have colors I haven't seen in awhile.

    Your trees are taking on a wonderful, rich color that makes the shots look so appealing. Our trees are starting to turn, but it's too early to tell if they will have brilliant colors or not this year.
