We went down to little Nashville today...just to be out and about.....we saw lots of pretty things, but I only bought a few little items...nothing to show on here.
I really wanted to look at some things in this shop, and we did go inside, but she had Elvis singing Christmas music and it was just blaring. I just was not in the mood for that so we turned around and left. If it was a big place, I could have understood it, but it wasn't.

The other night I was actually talking to Sarah on the phone...and some to Lorelei, too. Mostly though, I could here her in the background. She was just busy...and having a good time. Sarah told her. 'You're full of bologna!' Lorelei said, 'No, I not!' Keep in mind I am hearing all this...
Sarah asked, 'well, what are you full of?' She says, 'Macaroni!' Of course, Sarah and I lost it then...it is good thing neither of us were drinking any sort of liquid.
It is so cute to hear our grandkids over the phone! Their little voices are sweeter than ever! I think I would have said something to that lady about the loud music. In a very nice way, of course. I think she may lose quite a few customers.
ReplyDeleteI love the butterfly on the outside of the store; too bad the music made shopping unbearable. Seems like all the little folks love macaroni. Lorelei keeps you giggling and I love it when you share with us. Enjoy your day.
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing worse when music in shops is too loud. It's not so bad when it is quieter. It would have put me off going in too.
ReplyDeleteLorelei is a wee sweetie isn't she?
a beautiful photo, I love those windows and would like the shop, but would have done the same thing. I have done that in the past, left a store because of blasting music. also do not go to a certain restaurant for these same reason. i went in a shop once that had many sticks of incense burning, i had to leave.
ReplyDeleteLawn art is my weakness but if I heard that loud music (Elvis at full volume? No thank you!) I would have forgone going inside too.
ReplyDeleteFun talking to grandchildren on the phone ... you just never know what they'll say!
Neat store decorations.
ReplyDeleteI like the shop's decorations on the outside walls. Too bad you were turned off with their loud music.
ReplyDeleteKids are so funny. Love her answer.
ReplyDeleteHa! Lorelei sure is a funny one! Love it!
ReplyDeleteI like the photo and the wares look interesting there. I would have probably turned around and left too....but maybe not since I am hard of hearing :-) Love the Lorelei story....cute!
ReplyDeleteLorelei does a great job of keeping you entertained. Enjoy each and every one of those moments.
ReplyDeleteit does look like a cool store but whats with all the christmas music before thanksgiving??
ReplyDeletemy "blogs i follow" list has not been updating correctly or i am loosing my mine. i just read several of your posts that i have missed. i did enjoy catching up, you've been busy!!
Great-looking shop...too bad the music was so loud! I enjoyed your comment about Lorelei on the phone. I am guessing this Thanksgiving (and every day!) you are especially thankful for family....so am I! Hope you all have a great day Thursday! And thanks for your comment on my Prescott post. I liked the sky pictures too!
ReplyDeleteI hate when music plays loudly in stores......

The things they say are just fabulous.
ReplyDeleteAs for blaring music, I'm never in the mood for that. As for blaring Elvis...why, I'm never in the mood for that, either!
