From a little drive...

Another old home that is in a sad state...
I couldn't help but love how massive the trees are.

Roger and his buddy went shooting today...I was doing laundry and fooling around here and in just a bit here they came. Which is very strange for them to not be gone very long.

Roger bumped his knee, and bumped the exact spot where they took the biopsy and it broke the stitches. Blood had run all the way down to his shoe before he even realized what he had done. So we called his doctor and she had him come back in for her to stitch it again.

  1. We have some houses 'round here that look very much the same.

  4. A neat, old place. I like how the these trees have matured and hemmed it in so well. I hope Roger is back to healing again.

  5. That sounded really nasty - hope Roger's knee mends soon.

  6. Those trees would be worth tearing the old down and using some of the weathered wood to build a little cottage.
Hope Roger continues to heal. Tell him to be careful.

  8. it's always the way, if you have a body part that's hurt, it's the one part you always hit.

    Hope Roger gets better soon,

  11. Those huge trees dwarf the old house! I'd say that house has been there a long, long time.

  12. OUCH!

Just over 22 years ago, when I lived in Chicago, I had a friend who wanted to be a photographer. I always suggested photographs of barns, he always said no. He never did get around to taking many photographs and I always wish I had taken the photos of the barns.
