Another old home that is in a sad state...
I couldn't help but love how massive the trees are.

Roger and his buddy went shooting today...I was doing laundry and fooling around here and in just a bit here they came. Which is very strange for them to not be gone very long.
Roger bumped his knee, and bumped the exact spot where they took the biopsy and it broke the stitches. Blood had run all the way down to his shoe before he even realized what he had done. So we called his doctor and she had him come back in for her to stitch it again.
We have some houses 'round here that look very much the same.
ReplyDeleteoh no on the re-stitch job. i love those trees. i bet they were really tiny when that building was put up. I also like the building. even in tis sad state.
ReplyDeleteI always find it so sad when I see these. I hope Roger is all right.
ReplyDeleteA neat, old place. I like how the these trees have matured and hemmed it in so well. I hope Roger is back to healing again.
ReplyDeleteThat sounded really nasty - hope Roger's knee mends soon.
ReplyDeleteThose trees would be worth tearing the old down and using some of the weathered wood to build a little cottage.
ReplyDeleteHope Roger continues to heal. Tell him to be careful.
Sorry about the "re-stitching" episode - hope all is well with that. Love the old home shots.
ReplyDeleteit's always the way, if you have a body part that's hurt, it's the one part you always hit.
ReplyDeleteHope Roger gets better soon,
Gill
I'm sorry to hear about Roger's accident. I wonder how old those trees are around the house.
ReplyDeleteAnother great house! Even falling down it is an interesting photo subject. Sorry about Roger's knee problems....you hadn't told me about this!
ReplyDeleteThose huge trees dwarf the old house! I'd say that house has been there a long, long time.
ReplyDeleteOUCH!
ReplyDeleteJust over 22 years ago, when I lived in Chicago, I had a friend who wanted to be a photographer. I always suggested photographs of barns, he always said no. He never did get around to taking many photographs and I always wish I had taken the photos of the barns.
