Last week Sarah did not babysit Baby J....so this was the first morn that Lo had seen him in a few days. I think you can tell how she feels about him by just looking at the photo above! I think it just made her day when she got up and saw him this morn. She loves other kids so much.

I have had other things on my mind the past few days, and by the time I sit down at night to really sit, I have been too tired to think about a real blog post. My mind will be whirling with a zillion thoughts going through...not sure if I am back to blogging her normally or not...I am just going to take it one day at a time.
I have not got to work any more on my kitchen...got side-tracked with that but hopefully will get back to it in a few days. I really would like to have it everything gone through in there. Just with the bottom cabinets and the one upper cabinet I have done, it done looks a whole lot better.
After I get them done, I really need to get down in the basement and go through some totes and dispose of stuff from them. I know that I probably have time, but I hate to think of what a job my girls would have if something happened to me. It will be bad enough the best I can do.
I still have not been doing any sewing to speak of...need to settle down and sew the blocks together from the Civil War repro fabrics...

I don't know about where you are, but here was such a beautiful day. Windy. But warm wind, Hoping that we have a few more dry days.

Hi Rose, Cute picture of Lorelei and the baby. Is Lorelei in a pre-school program? She probably needs to be in one since she's old enough and loves other children...
ReplyDeleteNeal and family seem to be having a great trip so far. They are in Williamsburg tonight...
We are home from our 2nd trip is a month--and both of us have colds.. Yuk! Guess it will be REST for this upcoming week for both of us.
Hugs,
Betsy
What an adorable picture!
ReplyDeleteThat's a great shot! She's such a cutie.
ReplyDeleteLorelei sure does look happy!
ReplyDeleteDecluttering is a big job but it sure is worth doing. I now have a few piles (ugh) which I have to wait for certain things to happen before I can pass them on. I wish I could just dispose of it all, but one is a stack of books I plan to give to a craft guild (my contact is now in Florida on vacation), another is a stack of books for a used-book sale in April, and a third is some goodies for our local garden club - meeting next week. I'll feel GREAT soon, I hope. :))
A fine shot that clearly shows her happiness. It must be loads of fun to see them together.
ReplyDeletesweet photo, joy joy in the faces. good luck with the decluttering, keep on working at it, it's a good thing to do.
ReplyDeleteHi Rose, I have been blog lazy and hadn't been to your blog in a while. I just now read where you are working on your kitchen cabinets. Are you painting them? I am in the process of painting mine, but I to got side tracked several weeks ago and haven't finished them. I have all of the bottom ones painted, and dread doing the top ones. The color I'm using is Homestead Accent Gold. They were varnished wood and I had to put a primer. It's like doing them twice. I will post a picture when finished.
ReplyDeleteThat's a cute picture of Lorelei. She looks so happy to see her "buddy."
