This was taken 4 years ago today...what a difference in the weather. I can still remember how cold it was the day this was taken. And here today I hung clothes on the line just in my shirt sleeves.
I only quilted the dark sides of a couple blocks today....had to do a little bit of housecleaning. I am hoping to get back at it tomorrow and get a bit more done.
But the weather is supposed to be up almost to 60º tomorrow so who knows what we might do. In ways I think we should get out and enjoy it while we can. I can think of several places I would like to go.
The weather sure is a roller coaster these days. It's a deep freeze here right now with snow on the ground. Early next week we're going to get your 60o weather and everything will melt.
ReplyDeleteWe're having such lovely weather! I've been running every day. I can't stay inside when the weather is so fine. Wherever you go tomorrow, take your camera!
ReplyDeleteThe picture looks cold and very overcast. We too are having a warmer spell with rain and not freezing at night. It will soon change I think.
ReplyDeleteHello, I just came over from Ginny's blog.
ReplyDeleteIn India, days are getting colder and colder. The weather has been amazing of late. We certainly need to enjoy the bounty of beauty all around us, no matter how the weather is acting. Loved the picture, it must have invoked nostalgic memories for you.
Enjoyed my visit here, you have a wonderful space... Looking forward to explore more of it. Glad to meet you :)
I hope you got to get out and about. Sixyy degrees sounds wonderful to me. :))
ReplyDeleteThe stillness and isolation speak to me!
ReplyDeleteWe are also enjoying warm weather for this time of the year. It may be a while before we see any snow.
ReplyDeleteWe're supposed to be having warmer weather, I'll take it while we can cause I know the snow will be here soon enough.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful photo! It seems like everyone is talking about the warm weather and rain! Hugs!
ReplyDeleteLovely...I agree about the weather! Really unseasonably warm at the moment!
