First will show you a couple more edits my daughter did...she printed them and put them in white frames, with white mats....they really look good displayed that way.
It was certainly time consuming, but really worth the effort. I wish I had taken a picture of them in the frames

I was just thinking...it has been so long since I went to bed listening to the sound of a clock ticking. I seriously cannot even remember the last time. At one time it was a soothing sound...I don't know what I would think of it now.
And isn't it amazing just how many things have clocks on them...in my kitchen alone there is the stove, the microwave, the coffee pot, and the radio. Every direction I look, there is a clock!

I would tell you about the past four days, but you don't want to hear! It was of the nightmare quality almost. Not sure if I will be blogging regular or not for a little bit. But hoping to get started again now that the holiday season is over.
I love the first and last the best! What on earth has happened?? Please feel free to e-mail me. I am so sorry!!
ReplyDeleteWonderful photos of the flowers and butterfly! I hope that whatever happened is better now. Sorry it gave you a bad time. Take care!
ReplyDeleteWow, she did a great job editing! We have a 1896 7 day clock that we wind up and it tick tocks us to sleep at night, we love it and if it stops and I don't get around to winding it fast enough my husband reminds me to wind it because he really likes hearing it.
ReplyDeleteYour daughter did a wonderful job with these photos. You should be very proud of her.
ReplyDeleteLove the photos - but am concerned as to what happened with you . . . I hope all is okay.
ReplyDeleteWow, these are beautiful. I am concerned about you. You'll be in my thoughts.
ReplyDeletethe only things hanging on my walls are my photos printed and framed. these are beautiful.. and our kitchen has so many clocks in it i hate for the power to go out, thinking of resetting them all. once i bought a wind up clock for back up to the electric. the ticking was so bad, i could not sleep. no matter where i put it i could hear it. i put it under pillows in closets in the cabinet. when the silly thing wound down, i agave it away, that was about 30 years ago. my friend has a grandfather clock in his room at the nursing home, it drives my nuts ticking and it chimes on the quarter hour... yikes
ReplyDeleteRose, what is going on????? Love you and will pray for you... God Bless...
ReplyDeleteLove the prints... Bet they are gorgeous in the frames.
Hugs,
Betsy
She started with some really great shots. Maybe you can take one of them framed later.
ReplyDeleteWe have a clock in our living room that ticks and chimes. We have it for many years.
Hope whatever was wrong is better. Take care!
I like the last one best. We have two grandfather clocks, which my husband says "tick...and also tock"...but I'm too hard of hearing to hear them! I do hear the chimes. Mike's dad was a watchmaker and their house was always full of clocks that were ticking and tocking that he was fixing, and they would all chime at slightly different times, so he could hear each one and tell how it was doing. Drove me nuts the first time I visited, but you get to where you don't notice after awhile. I have an old mantle clock that should be ticking, but it hasn't worked right for several years. I do love clocks. In my kitchen I only have a clock on the microwave and one hanging on the wall. My 30 year old stove clock quit working a long time ago.
ReplyDeleteYour daughter's photos were great before she edited them but I do like wht she has done to them. Very nice work.
ReplyDeleteI like the sound of a ticking clock but I know it drives some people crazy. Many years ago I had a roommate who made me put my ticking clock in a drawer underneath a pile of clothes. She couldn't sleep if she heard the sound. I had totally forgotten that until I read your words. :))
