We went to visit our little ray of sunshine over the weekend...
they were at this park not too far from their house so that is where we went first thing...
I had never seen steps quite like this...notice how tall it is.
and here she is having a blast on this other thing...don't even know what it is called...
But you can tell by the expression on her face that she was having a blast.
This shows her friend Emily...Emily is about 2 years older than Lo...they have been best buddies almost since the day Lo was born.

It was a nice day today...got to hang out clothes. A little nippy....but supposed to be getting warmer through the week. Which is a good thing as we are planning to have Lorelei Friday night and Saturday night.
I am continuing to discard things...a little bit of this and a little bit of that. I love that I am actually getting rid of things, but could almost get discouraged cause I don't even miss it.
These are wonderful pictures! And even when she is running around, they are so clear and pretty. LOVE that awesome smile in the first picture. Those steps in the first and second picture, they are really scary to me. But they have them in most good playgrounds now.
ReplyDeleteYour granddaughter is growing like a weed... She's such a Cutie Pie... I know you were thrilled to see her...
ReplyDeleteWe had a nice day here too--first one in awhile.. Hope that we finally will see some Spring.
Hugs,
Betsy
that first photo is wonderful and a priceless treasure... the second one scared me silly, i don't do heights and would freak out at that ladder. she does look like she is having a blast. good girl for you and still discarding...
ReplyDeletethe photo of her on the seat thingy is the best. I love how you manage to capture those wonderful expressions of her.

A "fun" series of Lorelei enjoying the play equipment. It looked very high to me.... almost "anxious grandma" high! :-)
ReplyDeleteI wish I had Lorelei's energy!
ReplyDeleteGood for you for continuing to purge! Isn't it fascinating that we really don't need all the stuff we have, proved by the fact that we don't miss it when it's gone?
Sweet photos of your g'daughter! The ladder looks scary and just a bit dangerous to me. Looks like it would be easy to slip on and fall through...sez ole fuddy-duddy me. :)
ReplyDeleteI admire you for continuing to discard things. I need to get back to that job myself. It's amazing how much I have that I don't even use...so why do I keep it?
She's definitely having a good time!
ReplyDeleteDon't you just love being with them at a park. They just seem to be so happy there.
It's finally warming up here too. I hope this time the cold is gone for good.
So nice to see kids outside enjoying the weather, even though it is still cool. They are a cute pair and being best friends are always something they will remember as they get older.
ReplyDeleteSuch a blessed little girl to have a best friend...I hope they can keep the friendship over the years. She has a beautiful smile. I can see why you call her your little ray of sunshine :)
