Slow post to nowhere....

"Mother and Child Reunion"

I went to bed before midnight last night...that does not happen once every 6 months...I had planned to past before I went to bed but just could not get my thinking together enough to do one.

And today we ended up getting up, fixing a bit of breakfast, and heading out to a trader's fair/flea market type thing that is not too far from here.  It is just a small one and open every other weekend.  I did not see anything I could not live without.  Roger came home with two or three clamps that he can use in welding.

Right now I am headed down to the basement to look at my sewing...see if I can see anything I want to get started on.  I had been wanting to sew all week, but by the time I had time to go down there and stay, I was too weary.  Then yesterday had time but wasn't in the mood to sew.   Which seems to be typical for me.

The photo above was taken while passing an Amish farm up in Parke County the first week of June.

Other than that, nothing new or interesting happening here.  Sometimes that is better than the alternative.

What a great photo. I would love to hang out with the Amish for awhile. It would be awesome. But, I would be banned I am sure. I would want to hang with the guys outside, doing cow/horse work. :) We have "modern" Hooterites here. They are very interesting. But no electricity? Do they have windmills and solar? I know how to drive a horse and buggy! :) The Amish have always fascinated me.

Well you did accomplish something. And you posted too. I had a weird day yester. I broke a bird feeder--actually two--the one I replaced with the broken one fell out of the tree and came apart and all the seed went everywhere. The whole day followed that way. The printer wouldn't work, it wouldn't go online and no printing. We worked hours on that and suddenly it worked---we still don't know what happened. The techie gods were just playing with us.
So on weird and silly day just be thankful you are still up and breathing. MB

Love the picture Rose! I haven't had much energy this summer which is evident by my blog. Hardly any posts.

The mother and babe are so sweet. Yes, I know what you mean: sometimes I'm just too tired to knit. That's when my daughter asks, "Mom, are you sick? I can't believe you're not knitting...."

Well, for me, a day that nothing at all happens is a good day! Can you imagine, a teenager would never say that!! So are you a night owl? LOVE the picture of mama and baby.

Now I will be singing Mother and Child Reunion all night in my sleep....guess that's better than Welcome To My Nightmare! lol

Sounds like to me you got quite a bit done...even if it wasn't sewing! You'll get in the mood again!

A moving photo of mother and child here.

I feel like I have been super busy too and I don't always find time to do all I would like to do. I probably find too many interests. lol
