Cold critter...

I don't know why I haven't posted this before now.  Also, it looks sort sepia-ish, but I haven't done anything to make it look that way.

It is still cold in our neighborhood;-)  We are looking forward to some days above freezing later in the week.  I just hope the temps stay up long enough for some of this white stuff to melt.

  2. Nice looking cow. Boy, you still have a lot of snow. It was SOOO cold when we were on the trip, traveling through Texas and New Mexico, but still not anywhere near the temp lows that a lot of people are getting. Still, we just aren't used to being in the teens anymore. :-)

  3. I was excited to see the weather forecast going up a little. Wasn't excited to see more snow on the way though {{{SIGH}}}

    Great photo.

  5. It's a fine shot of this calf standing in the snow. We too are hoping for thawing days from today through the end of the week. We got about 4 inches of new snow yesterday, but it should vanish by tonight.

  6. I hope it melts too. We have no snow except up in the mountains--where it can stay. LOL
    I love looking at cattle too. I like horses better. haha! MB

  8. They are threatening us with warmer temps, too. Is it too good to be true? I worry about the animals and birds.

  10. Yes---with the brown and white colors, it does look like it's been done in Sepia...

    Great photo, Rose..I'm sad tonight. We have had to cancel our Valentine’s Trip to a little mountain town (Cashiers) in North Carolina. That horrible southern storm is going to give them from 6-10 inches of snow, plus sleet and power outages. We can’t even get into that area now… SAD–but it’s better to be safe than sorry.

    Hugs,
    Betsy

  11. Yep, it looks like sepia, doesn't it? I'm not ready for the snow to melt yet because that leaves a lot of mud with too much time between now and the start of green growth. I think it's better to keep the brown covered in white. Just saying!
