Bird's foot trefoil and more

I just love this flower...love the color, love the actual way it blossoms. Just so beautiful!  And I can finally remember its name...
Then there is this...crown vetch. I would think they are what amounts to cousins at least.  Both are just beautiful.
***********
I had to make a run to Walmart to pick up popsicles, ice cream (Klondike bars), and some other snack for while Lorelei is here.  I would not want to be out of her favorite treats.  As hot as it has been, I think popsicles are going to taste good to all of us.

It is raining and thundering as I type this.  And we are supposed to have more tomorrow, but Saturday and Sunday is supposed to be nice.  I am hoping they are right till Lorelei can be outside some.

I may be slow in visiting, but I will get around to everyone eventually.

  2. Beautiful flowers! Never heard of them. I've heard of vetch, but it doesn't look like that. Must be hairy vetch? It grows wild and the cows love it. Purple flower and full of protein for them.
I know I don't need to say this, but enjoy the kiddo! :)

  4. The Vetch...what a bad name for such a beautiful flower. But the Trefoil is gorgeous!! I do not think it looks like a bird's foot, but then again, what do I know. I hope there is wonderful weather for Lorelei.

  5. What beautiful flowers! So perfect and delicate looking!

I was wanting some Klondike bars when I was at the store yesterday and they were completely OUT! Popsicles sound pretty good. Might have to get a few of those.

That rain cloud missed us. It was dark to the north of us but not a drop here.

  9. Such puffy flowers. You got good close-ups. Tre-foil here is almost a ground cover and a weed. I like the vetch-cows like it too.

Love the Eagle shot. It is exciting MB
