For my first time to join TexWisGirl for Good Fences, at least if I can remember to link up in the morning. I am going to use a photo taken back in February. This is a neighbor's dog. Isn't she beautiful!

Another beautiful day. Another load of clothes hung out to dry. Not much else went on here. Just a few cleaning jobs. A few lines sewn. No excuse for the quilting not to be done on the quilt. It is jnot quilted heavily at all...I think I am going to make an effort to finish it tomorrow.
Then Friday Sarah and family come and spend the night if nothing happens. I think it is supposed to rain, but am really hoping the forecast changes. I have bubbles bought for Lorelei....and would like to be able to be outside with her.
Pretty dog! Have fun with your family :)

ReplyDeleteThat is a beautiful dog and I'm glad that was taken in February. I was afraid with the ditzy weather we've been having in the country that it might have been taken yesterday.
ReplyDeleteBeautiful 'snow' dog! Have fun with your family!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous dog! I hope you're not hand quilting with the quilt on your lap - it's kinda hot for that! Hope the weather cooperates for your weekend. Bubbles will be fun - I can imagine the forthcoming giggles. :D
ReplyDeleteTo answer your questions on my posts - we were in Cleveland, TN - our first time to that part of the state. We LOVED it! Been wanting to spend some time at Cumberland and just haven't done it yet. When we were going through TN, I thought to myself - No wonder Rose gets homesick for this place! :)
Yes, we have stayed at state park inns here in Indiana. We've stayed at McCormick's Creek a couple of times, Spring Mill once, Turkey Run, and then this year, for the first time, stayed at Fort Ben Harrison (main lodge, former hospital). There are usually specials in January-February - stay one night and get 1/2 off the second night. We usually go in February.
Just this week we got a coupon in the Moneymailer ad that has the same type of special running June 1 through August 28 of this year. A good friend of ours has their family reunion every summer at Spring Mill and they all stay at the inn. We've been wanting to go to Clifty Inn but the weather wasn't cooperating when we could go.
This last winter, Indiana State Park Inns had a $99 Holiday Deal where you would get a state park pass (for 1 year), a 1 year subscription to Outdoor Indiana magazine, and a $70 state park inn gift certificate. You might follow their Facebook page and keep tabs on their specials that way. https://www.facebook.com/IndianaStateParkInns?fref=nf
Sorry for the long reply. Hope it's useful!
