Two of the borders I quilted the same, and the two others are different. Different to the two that are alike and different from each other.
oh, and the back is this red flannel...
Not the greatest, but even though the pics don't show it, it is better than I thought it would be. But there is still a lot I am not really happy with.
Ohhhh...Ahhhh...love the quilting. I like the fern like feathers and I really like your leaves...I'm going to have to try both.
ReplyDeleteI cannot believe you think these are not good photos! How could they ever be better? They show off the wonderful stitching patterns, the colors are gorgeous, sharp, and beautiful. Even the little details, like the blue ruler. In pictures two and three, your stitching is SO pretty!!
ReplyDeleteGorgeous quilt, Rose. I LOVE it.. The colors are perfect. I love colorful quilts and this one is definitely colorful.
ReplyDeleteLoved seeing Lorelei's picture in the last post --after losing another tooth... Cute!!

Betsy

ReplyDeleteI love it! so bright and cheery!! :)
ReplyDeleteIt's hard to get good quilt pics. If I get true color then I have troubles showing the quilting stitches well...looks like you did a great job showing both! :)
Wow....such an impressive work of art and such beautiful colors!!! You must be so proud.
ReplyDeleteIncredible works of art, Rose. You are amazing!
ReplyDeleteI LOVE IT. this is my favorite and these are MY colors.... king size please... really pretty
ReplyDeleteAside from the fine points, the color is great.
ReplyDeleteYour color combinations on this quilt are perfect. That black just makes everything pop. You should be very proud of your efforts.
ReplyDeleteThe colors of the piecing are great, but I really enjoy the picture of the back of the quilt. Very lovely.
ReplyDeleteHi Rose, I'm your new follower! Thanks for visiting my blog. I love your quilt. Do you do your own quilting? Very nice. Your pics are just fine too!
ReplyDeleteWhere do you live? I'm in Oregon.
Nice to meet you.
Linda
Awesome. Simply awesome!!
ReplyDeleteLook at you! A beautiful finish! I LOVE your quilting! I have such a hard time controlling the freemotion still, but the more I do it the better I will get, I am sure. The quilting designs are great!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful is the Quilt!
ReplyDeleteGreetings...
LOVELY! I don't know how I would have photographed this quilt as the extremes in colour make it difficult. Each block looks so different to me that it's fascinating to look at each square. With a flannel backing it will be a cozy quilt to sleep under!
ReplyDeleteWow what a bright and cheery quilt. I like it.
ReplyDeleteIt's beautiful and I would love to have even a small portion of your talent! :)
