End of summer charm

This is just a drop in the bucket...there just seems to be no way to show the measure of yellow that is out at the strip pits.  Everywhere in sight one will see yellow flowers.  On warm, breezy days, it is just glorious to stand and look.  I never seem to be able to capture a picture that shows the way I feel.

**********
It is really on the cool side now of the morns.  It is  46ºF as I type this.  The high is only supposed to reach into the 60's.

I will be busy today, so probably won't get much visiting done till either tonight or tomorrow.  I hope everyone has a great weekend.

Golden Rod brings the sneezes . . .
Looking at your beautiful sight and bank of yellow has me safe . . . not a sneeze in sight!

  4. Yellow is certainly the color for a variety of fall flowers, even on the Florida wetlands. Soon will be enjoying the color of the Illinois prairies.

  6. I like the yellow field. Scenes that seem difficult to capture happened often to terrain photographers.

  7. I think goldenrod is difficult to photograph...and so far I haven't figured out why. I think this photo is very good and I love that there's an egret there too.
