Still making me happy

This machine is still making me really happy.  This mess is in my dining room, and I don't much care.  I like having it there to sew with those few minutes here and there...and sometimes it might be an hour here and there.  But it is the odd moments, when I am cooking or just want to sit down a few minutes that makes me so happy with it.

It would take me a lifetime to do all the sewing I want to do, or to use up all the fabric I have.  And yet I always see something more I want to make or try, and more fabric that I want.   I think bother are common to quilters.

  2. I've heard Juki are the best sewing machines. I don't have one but cannot imagine life without a sewing machine, whatever the make!

  3. this photo makes my brain hurt just thinking about even trying to thread it... it looks like the perfect one for you and it is good to sit and play a few minutes at a time

  4. Maybe that's why I'm not good at being a quilter...can't stand to have stuff sitting around. So great that you can sit down and sew when you get the urge, Rose.

  6. I like my work close to where I may be too. That way, like you, I can sit and work for a few minutes.
    PS: it's not messy either!!

  7. It has been too long since I have used a sewing machine. I'd love to find the time to get back to it. I'll need to start with the basics, it's been so long! :D I like that you have a ruler right there as part of the machine!

  8. It's lovely to see the kind of passion you have about this wonderful hobby. Your machine looks really high-tech. I'm ashamed to admit I don't have one but I was never very good with a needle. I do, however, truly admire you and your creations.
