I forget how many bobbers this tree has in it, but it has a few more. I felt like some had disappeared since the last time we were there. Can't you just imagine how frustrated the fisherman must have felt. I seldom fish with live bait and bobbers....but I keep promising myself that I am going to do more of it. It is nice to just sit and watch the water, and watch for the bobber to go under.
I have loved fishing ever since I was a young girl...I really don't remember a time I didn't like to fish. And though I am thrilled to catch a bigger fish, I have fun catching any at all.
Fishing is like good therapy...I can have a horrible throbbing headache but if I can go fishing for just a couple of hours it just melts away.
I wonder how much that trees been cussed at? Ha!
ReplyDeleteI'm with ya girl! I LOVE to go fishing. I love catching steelhead or salmon on a bobber with shrimp on a hook. What a blast! And like you say, therapeutic!

I have never fished, but we have taken Ella to fish. It was fun! And our pastor loves fishing, it is his hobby and also a way to connect with people.
ReplyDeleteFunny decorations. :)) I giggle whenever I see bobbers like this but it it's a probable sign of a good place to fish.
ReplyDeleteThere are certainly some stories to tell from this photo!
ReplyDeleteI was trying to comment on this last night and having trouble, so cleared my cookies and starting fresh today.
ReplyDeleteI'm going to guess that those bobbers are too high in the tree to retrieve, but they certainly add color to the grey winter days. :)

ReplyDeleteI used to go fishing with my Dad when I was young. It is very relaxing. I don't fish now but I still love looking at water, whether it's a small stream, a babbling brook, a river or the ocean.
