Last post for a while...

We will be having a house-guest for the next couple of weeks...Lorelei!  Not sure what day she will come, but I have things to do.  I may pop in and do a post here and there, or I may not.  Maybe by the time I get back to blogging we will have blossoms of some sort from this year.

Hopefully I will get some pics of her while she is here.  I picked up a new coloring book, crayons, and one of the little potholder looms, today.  You know they kind that has the stretchy nylon loops.  Not very useful as a potholder but thinking she might enjoy making some.

Last week when we were at her house I discovered something else she likes to watch on TV--How Its Made.  Does anyone else watch it?  I always find it fascinating to watch how things are manufactured.  But it always leaves me wondering who came up with all the 'machines' that does so much of the work automatically.  And who works on them....

I will visit some I am sure...and will let you know when I get back to blogging regularly.

Is that a Peony? Gorgeous! I have seen that show a few times. I got one of those looms for Anne Marie and she LOVED it!

I know you'll have a wonderful visit!
Loved those little potholder makers when I was young.
How's It Made - my hubby can watch episodes of that show one after the other. Sometimes I'm astounded at how things are really made. I'd like to hold the patent on any one of those machines!

Have fun with Miss L!
We had our grandkids here for the week and did all sorts of crafts, science experiments, baking, gathering sap and I even taught Miss C how to sew, knit and weave. Fun times and the house looks like a tornado went through!

Lucky you to have Lorlei! I can't wait to hear about her antics. She's such a joy for you. I wish my granddaughters lived closer. Two in Alaska (my daughter's).

Hope you're having a great time with your grand daughter!

I just realised I owe you an apology; I copied questions from a friend's blog but failed to see that she originally got them from you. They're good questions and you should get credit for them, which I will do when I next post. If you would like me to stop using them, please let me know and I will do so. Again, I apologise.
