Willy Nilly Friday 5...

1.  My irises have been started blooming, however they are not blooming in their normal order.  This one does usually bloom first, and it did this year.  Next usually comes my peach irises, and some that are so dark purple that they almost look black.  They have always bloomed together.  The peach ones had their first bloom a few days ago, but the dark purple ones have not had a single blossom open.

2.  For all the women for a fun read, go read This Post by That British Woman.

3.  This cow's hairdo made me think of Our Gang's Alfalfa.  Honest to goodness, that was my first thought when I saw her.

4.  Do you stop and ask for directions when lost or unfamiliar with the territory you are in? Do you ever travel with someone that refuses to ask?  This video might explain why some men won't stop to ask for directions.

5. Does anyone else remember this video/song?

I always wonder how many trys it took to get this right.  If you have not seen it, watch it...what they do is pretty complicated.

Hi Rose, thanks for visiting my blog. I popped over here for a return visit. Great irises and great wisdom about men. My friend and I, on holiday at the coast, couldn't find the sea three days ago... Have a great day. Jo

#1 Iris are like a lot of life, they don't last long and you need to enjoy them in the moment.
#2 It wouldn't open for me...just for women only.
#3 Every day is a bad hair day for me.
#4 True!
#5 I've never heard it.

Your Iris is just gorgeous - and the cow shot is priceless: what an expression! As for the video, that had to take a lot of work and practice!!

Love the iris! Got some good chuckles out of the cow and Red Green who always is full of wisdom. That last video is pretty amazing. People can be so creative...and coordinated.

#1. Irises are so pretty and a favorite of mine. Mine bloomed differently this year too.
2. I'll check that out.
3. Yep, I agree. That's quite a hairdo even for a cow.
4. My ex-husband was like that. I will ask for directions.
5. Never heard or seen this but it was enjoyable.

Bawhaha! Love the "wig" on the cow! A lot of times that's how I identify a cow. By her wig! Lol!

Enjoyed another wonderful post Rose. I loved the cow and can see the similarity. Your flower was gorgeous. Both the videos made me laugh. Can relate to the first one of course ;) and what is it about changing lanes at the last minute? Is that a boy/girl thing?
