Some randomness....

It is time for Tanya's Willy Nilly Friday 5....that's a good thing because I have no idea what I would have posted otherwise.  You would think with the nice weather I would have a lot to write about, but I don't.  So this might be a struggle to come up with 5....

1.  I have spent almost the entire day looking for the crib sized quilt batting I know I have, but with no success.  It reminded me of the graph above.

2.  Then I spent a good fifteen minutes finding the graph...I have shared it before but it is still so fitting every time I see it.

3.In my search for the above graph I found this one:
I haven't shown this to Roger, but I am sure he will identify with this.

4.  Is anyone else anxiously awaiting the arrival of the first tomato from the garden?

5.  Go see Revrunner's post with photos of clouds and read the poem by Percy Bysshe Shelley.  The actual poem is longer.  I love the verses chosen to accompany the photos.  If you want, click here to read the entire poem.  It is pretty wonderful.

  1. #1 I also have been looking for a few things around here and haven't been able to find them. Perhaps I spend too much of my day eating.
#2 It would have taken my longer than fifteen minutes to find the graph.
#3 My grandkids are slow about learning to pick up their legos.
#4 I go to my local farm stand.
    #5 Cloudy cloudy skies.

  3. Well, that just about describes my day..I always seem to be looking for something. I remember Legos..and stepping on them. I'm glad none of my grands are the least bit interested in playing with them now..but they do love all the cartoons and games.

  6. Love your graphs. Oh yes, we all have spent way too much time hunting for something we just had. I do it all the time. But, it's been a long, long time since I stepped on a Lego.... but I have so I guess that qualifies me for .... something.

  8. I remember that you were looking for the quilt batting. I'm finding lots of things I didn't even know I was looking for, as I pack up for the move.

  11. Hi Rose, The graph is so cute. My eating portion would have to be bigger! I have gotten terrible about losing important paperwork...I just can't remember like I used to.
I hope you can find the batting and work on the baby quilt.
Wishing you a real good day. xo

  13. It is so funny--but NOT!--how much time we spend looking for something. We know we have it --we know exactly where we put it---but it's not there. Grrrr! I so relate to that.
    Love the graphs.
    Off to revrunner's post.

Oh so true! :D I also love the remaining charts but the first one really got me laughing hard! :D It's so great to meet you and I do look forward to visiting again next Friday.
Hugs for now from a new friend,
