I am hoping to think of at least 5 things to share for Tanya's Willy Nilly Friday 5. So here we go....
1. We took Lorelei fishing for the first time this year. She had a blast. We could not take her for the longest time because the creeks were all up. I don't know why we didn't think of taking here here. But she does love going to the creek cause she can fish and/or wade and play.
2. Can there ever be too many fall shots. I think not! I was looking at this part of the time while we were fishing. I just could sit and look at this forever.
3. Here's a Jack-o-lantern that will last for years! I really do like it, but did not even look at the price.
4. How about one more pic of Spidy...this is one of the last photos taken right before she laid her eggs. After she laid them, she was like a deflated balloon almost. I seriously doubt if she was half this size. And she has been MIA for the last 3 or 4 days. We miss her. If I knew where her egg sac was and knew how to make sure they survived till next year, I would get them and take care of them. I hope to have her offspring here next year. (By the way, look closely at her back...it is almost as if it has a design on it besides the stripes.)
5. I love a photo where the road is inviting....there are always so many roads I want to travel down. I can remember as a child always wondering what was down this or that road or around the bend.
I showed one of these leaf potholders last time I joined WNF5, but it was not finished...so here is what they look like.
That's it from this little corner of the world....
Hello, I enjoyed seeing all your photos for this week. I especially like the road/farm scene. And your leaf potholder is lovely. Wishing you a wonderful weekend ahead :)
ReplyDeleteI love that potholder, it's gorgeous!
ReplyDeleteYou'll have to read Charlotte's Web to/with Lorelei... especially after seeing 'your' spider, I bet she'd love it. I know both my daughter and I did.
I always thought the best part about fishing was 'falling' in the creek, lol.
#1 A whopper!
ReplyDelete#2 This year we have a lot of golds, but few reds.
#3 Must be an oldie, it's not made of plastic.
#4 One big mama.
#5 My kind of country...so many roads and so little time.
#6 Too pretty to use.
Belas fotografias.
ReplyDeleteGostei da pequena pescadora.
Um abraço e bom fim de semana.

ReplyDeletelove the potholder and this is my first viewing of a pregnant spider and i like it as a picture but not in real life. she is an awesome specimen. as is the cute fisherperson... i like her dress..
ReplyDeleteI understand the value of spiders, but I don't like them. Not sure I would do anything to preserve her offspring! Great photos and Willy Nilly.
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely way to do Tanya's Friday Five. I've been a bit slow in this area lately, brain won't cooperate. Maybe I am overthinking it. Your photos are lovely Rose. Thanks for stopping by. The flower you mentioned was a tiny one and definitely a weed. Pretty though right? Have a great weekend :)
ReplyDeleteMy hubby would love to see your spider pic...so much detail! We hiked yesterday and took pics of some of the webs. They are so intricate. Love your photos and I appreciate your sweet comment today! Happy weekend! Hugs, Diane
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh, always such a joy to see that darling little smile! You're a lucky gramma! :-)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous autumn color on that tree. It seems to be a colorful year, this year.
I don't share your fascination for spiders, but that is a great pic and, yes, it does look like some kind of design intersecting her stripes.
Pretty farm scene - you always find really nice ones.
Very pretty hotpad! I hope to get back to doing some sewing one of these days. Too many irons in the fire right now.

ReplyDeleteLorelei looks so happy with her fish.
ReplyDeleteMan that spider sure got huge. Sad when they finally disappear.
Love your potholder, it's really pretty.
Beautiful fall tree & a fun pumpkin decoration.
I enjoyed your 5 Randoms very much.
Good for Lorelei to love to go fishing. I remember our kids loving it. The leaf potholder turned out cute!
