This was in the Lima Brighton School's yard...this school is in Howe. There was no sign to tell anything about it. We wondered if it came from the original school.
It sure does stand out.

We recently drove through the strip pit area...no birds to speak of but did see a few deer. These were the first we seen...back in the shade, near a wooded area.
The ones in the above photo, and the two following photos were about a mile away from those in the first photo.
The two deer above did not stand long until they turned and ran back in the bushes...
It took us a while to spot the girl above...the 5 deer in these last 3 photos were all right there close to each other....the two in the first photo were easy to spot, then, we spotted the ones in the next photo. We were about to leave when I noticed the one in the third photo.
How strange that there is no info about it. Might have been on the top of the older school. ring the bell to start school.
ReplyDeleteI think I am back for awhile. I have to get my motivation going.

Wonderful bell tower - maybe someone will put a sign up soon. Love the deer photos - we have deer that roam through our yard all the time - last week I missed a great shot - mother, last year's baby and this year's baby - all in a row - just not fast enough - drat.
ReplyDeleteLindo e belas fotografias.
ReplyDeleteUm abraço e continuação de uma boa semana.
The structure is so pretty, like it belonged to the top of a school building. I bet it has an interesting story that I hope they will share sometime. Love the deer photos, love all your photos.
ReplyDeleteWhat a grand bell tower. Pretty deer too.
ReplyDeleteLovely little bell tower - and the deer have captured me. Have always had a fondness for them.
ReplyDeleteSounds very likely that the bell was on an original school. My village has a huge bell on the site of the original school.
ReplyDeleteLooks like it is an original bell tower for the school, perhaps replace in remodeling. Good that they kept it for curiosity sake.
ReplyDeleteYou managed to captured those deer. Beautiful captures.
ReplyDeleteThat tower is awesome! I'm glad it wasn't destroyed from wherever it came from. Love the deer!
ReplyDeleteThat bell tower sure does stands out.
ReplyDeleteGood deer photos. In the first photo, the deer have smaller chin patches than the deer in the remaining photos.
ReplyDeleteNeat to see the deer! And the bell tower is lovely!
ReplyDeleteThe bell building is so unusual being at the school. I have seen small school bells that were used in years past, but not one this large.Such an interesting piece of architecture. Your deer are out. Our are in hiding from the hunters.
ReplyDeleteGreat shots! I love this time of year. I got out today and took a few color shots but not as pretty as these you took!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely beautiful photos, Rose.
