Pumpkins, get your pumpkins!

I am thinking I best get these photos posted while it is still the time to enjoy them.

These were all taken at Shipshewana the first week of October.

I just happen to love the color orange...

I also love all the textures

I wonder if all of these are just for decoration or are they edible?  Or both?

I don't like pumpkin pie, do you?  I think they smell simply delicious and I used to make them for Roger.

*********
I was cruising along through the day, doing this and that, a couple loads of laundry, messing with sewing, etc and thinking that wow, I was getting a lot done.  I looked at the clock and it was alread 4:30! And there I was thinking it was about 2:00 or 2:30.  But Roger had fixed fried rice, so I had to do no cooking...

How about you...does your day sometimes slip through your hands without you even realizing it is passing?

Wow! So many pumpkins of different colours, shape and sizes. Hmmm I like those odd shaped pumpkins in the 2nd pic. Yes, are all edible? I love to eat pumpkins, sweet and tasty. It always happen - time just slipped by without realizing it.

Time slips away from me all the time! ;)

I think the second photo is of decorative gourds but for sure the other three photos are of edible ones.

i love pumpkins but i guess usually only get a mum. i feel the pumpkins so last as long as i hope for. i notice certain days pass by so quickly & others creep along. i am not sure why some times pass too quick? wonder what makes the difference to me or you? is it only in our head or what? ha. ha!
