A little pic

How about one pic without a big smile...you can tell she is about to smile, though.
***************
I am here to report that I have been nothing if not lazy for the past few days.  I have touched my sewing machine but no more than for half an hour or so each day.  Normally, once I start I don't want to quit.

Do you ever get something on your mind that distracts you from everything?  That is how I have been.  Distracted.

We got quite a bit of snow yesterday...when Roger shoveled the sidewalk last night he thought maybe 5 or 6 inches.  I did not go outside the first time.  That is not normal for me.

Right now I got to get moving cause we have an appointment in town today...

  2. if i get something on my mind, I can't lay it down or stop thinking of it and it does change me... and it also keeps me from sleeping.

  3. Lorelei is very pretty whether she is smiling or not. I too will be distracted if I have something on my mind.

  4. And a cute little pic it is! She is such a cutie pie! Gosh, I have been feeling what you just described. I've had to make myself sit at the sewing machine. My heart is just not in doing anything right now. February is usually this way for me.

  7. She always takes such a precious photo. It snowed here too. Think it stopped finally. Nowhere near as much what we had last time, maybe three inches. I feel a bit distracted right now too. Maybe it's the weather, who knows.

  8. Lorelei is such a pretty girl! I don't know if I've said it before, but every time I see your header photo, the many stitches in the quilt always amaze me. And it's beautiful, too.
Distracted is a good word that sums up what I've been lately too. I have put off so many things because of that "d" word. I blame it on the gloomy days. :) Have a nice week!

  9. Sweet pic of Lorelei. How ever did you manage one without a smile from Miss Smiley! We had a good covering of snow overnight, but it turned to rain this morning. Hubby was delighted as he still isn't up to par and sure didn't feel like shoveling snow. Hope you had a great day.
