Peek-a-boo

I think on the very drive Roger and I took after he got home from the hospital, we saw this eagle.  On the way home we crossed over Brouillett's Creek.  I have watched for an eagle to be there for years and years and this is the first time to have success.  He was down on a little sandbar, but when I paused, he flew down the creek and flew to this perch.
Definitely not good pictures, but at least a memory for us.
**********
Roger is done with with physical therapy but continues with speech and occupational.  He helped mow the yard a couple weeks ago.  That was kind of scary because that is what he did the day he had the stroke.  And the other day we changed the oil in our Rav 4.  It was a struggle for him to remember parts of it but we did get it done.

Please continue to keep him/us in your prayers.

So good to know he is progressing. I think most people have never seen a bald eagle, and your pictures are good and close.

Lorelei and the Luna moth are gorgeous!! I don't know which is more beautiful. But she sure is a lovely sight with that stunning moth.

Hi Rose, so good to see your post. I was away from blogging awhile, but did know about Roger and have had you both on my prayer list. Great to hear that he is improving and able to help with the oil change and do some mowing. Your photos of the eagle are wonderful and I am excited for you to have seen him. The last post of sweet Lorelei and the moth are wonderful shots, too. Have a nice Sunday!

I''m sure it was thrilling for you to see the eagle. Even though he didn't pose, he did stay so you could see and snap him.

I'm so glad that Roger is progressing and I'm happy to read about it. I have kept him in my prayers and will continue. Terry has had three TIAs so that warning keeps praying for Roger close to my heart.
xx, Carol

Great pictures of the EAGLE.. I still have never gotten to see one out in the open like that. I've seen them in caged areas/zoos, etc.... SO gorgeous.

Glad Roger is making improvements. Continued prayers for both of you.
