Waiting for spring...

After all the dark, dreary days I have been going through my photos.  Lingering just a bit extra on blue-skied, sunny days.  Looking with longing at colorful flowers.

I know if it came a big snow that I would get all excited...I just cannot help myself.  I love how snow makes things new again.

But right now, give me some warmer weather, and a cup of coffee on the front porch.  Is anyone else anxious for some sunshine and warmth?

  1. Sweet Peas! Yes, I would love to see some, along with other flowers. But it is warm here this week, so I won't complain. Although still dark and dreary!

  3. we have nothing but sunshine and warmth here and I love it. sunshine is my happy trigger. when it is gray and overcast I feel that way. I don't intend to ever leave Florida, I just love it. I used to like winter as a child and even when I was in my 30's but now I am over winter.

  4. Oh, absolutely I am anxious for spring. That bright sweetpea is so pretty. We have a little sunshine and 61 degrees today, but I know it's only temporary. I am longing for green grass and flowers, and blue skies.

  6. Snow is pretty, but I'm ready for spring and flowers. We finally had some sunshine today and warming temps after a few gray, gloomy days in which they called for an ice storm. Thankfully, it didn't happen.
Supposed to be 60 this weekend. Crazy weather!

  7. Are those Sweet Peas in your photo? I love those. Yes, I get starved for blue skies and color this time of year. We are supposed to get 70 degrees this weekend in southern Indiana!!

  8. Yes, I'd vote for sunshine! Every morning when I do the school run I have to start off with a scraper to get the windows cleared before I can get my motor on the road. It's such a drag!
