Five favorites....

I was visiting a blog and she closed with a quote from a John Denver song...I thought that's it.  I will choose five of my favorite John Denver songs...



These are in no particular order...



I just love them all.



I hope you enjoy at least one of them...



I am trying to limit myself to 5 but that is hard to do.



It was a quote from the above that gave me the idea...this song sometimes goes through my head in the spring....

And in the fall it is Poems, Prayers, and Promises....

    He was so talented, and died way too soon. Like other songwriters who flew: Jim Croce, Ricky Nelson, half of Lynyrd Skynard, Buddy Holly. Singing stars should stay out of planes. Really.

    Sunshine on My Shoulders may be my favorite of his songs... but, it's hard to say, because I love all of them. Ha! blessings ~ tanna

    I enjoyed his songs very much. I had not listened to them in a while. Thank you for these. Some of them I was not familiar with. I like the one about West Virginia too. I hope you and your husband will have a nice weekend.

My middle name is Rose, we were married in 1976, and I am originally from Indiana, Born in South Bend and raised in Michigan City. Then there is quilting and gardening and I'm sure much more.     He's one of my all time favorites! I never heard the Wrangell Mountain song before, but I know most of his other song all by heart :)

    We used to listen to John Denver's song. Hubby loves his songs. Sunshine on my shoulder used to be one of our favourites.

    I love John Denver. - So sad that he's no longer around to make more music for us to enjoy. - So glad you posted your 5 songs because I don't think I've ever heard, Wrangle Mountain before but I loved it and may just have to purchase that CD now.
