I had a lot of little pieces of orange fabrics left over from those pumpkin places mats earlier this fall.
So over the past few weeks I have pieced the pieces together randomly. Finally worked a few minutes over the past few days and finished these little mug mats that are approximately 4 3/4 inch square.
They are totally awesome!! You made perfect patterns with them, and all the fabrics are placed so well! I could never do this, it looks like a whole lot of thought was put into it.
ReplyDeleteThe mug mats turned out great. I love these colors together.
ReplyDeleteagree with Ginny on the awesome. they are really pretty and very useful to. great idea for using left over pieces. will you give them to someone or use them your self? or even sell them
ReplyDelete...I've always been crazy for crazy quilts, or maybe it was I've always been crazy. Oh well.
ReplyDeleteThose are adorable!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful and useful, too! Reminds me of grandmother who was always making things from her remnants. She used to make me little change purses that snapped to carry my lunch money in.
ReplyDeleteWhat a clever idea!

Merry Christmas, Rose & Family!
ReplyDeletePeace :)
They're lovely Rose. I adore the colours, and the fact that you don't throw away your off-cuts. I hate to see anything wasted, and I'm always hoarding off-cuts for "rainy day" projects.
