This and that

When I was hurting so bad, I picked this up and finished it.  I cannot even remember how long ago I started it.  When I did the transfer, I did not iron long enough and the lines were so light I could barely see most of them and a couple of them I just guessed at.  I think I would have finished it when I first started it if not for that.  I have another towel ironed and ready for another transfer.

I finished this...and am thinking about starting another one.   I wish I had a 500 piece puzzle cause I can usually work them rather quickly and not have that mess setting out.  Bubbie actually got up on this one before it was finished...so hoping he is not going to start again.  Notice in the lower right corner how crazy the pieces are cut.  I thought till the very end that I had lost a piece.

I have been to the chiropractor twice....still got a ways to go.  I tried to bend over Monday morn to pick up my glasses prior my first visit and  for most of the day could only take baby steps.  And I even said 'ouch' out loud when when Doc adjusted me and I never do that.  But I am slowly improving...I have to believe that.

Hope the rest of your week is a good one!

  1. You did good on the rooster. He looks perfect to me. I love dish towels like that. Looking close, that puzzle does have unusual cut pieces. It's been a long time since I've worked on a puzzle. Hope your hip gets better. Is it your hip or leg. Made me think about my back problems. It's awful to feel like you can't walk.

  3. That is such a pretty puzzle but it looks as if it was very hard to do!! We used to do puzzles all the time and preferred the 500 piece one IF we could find ones we liked. So often we ended up with 1000 piece ones anyway.

  4. Oh, you sound so painful! Is it a disc problem? I love your rooster towel, and would put it in the middle of my kitchen table. Too pretty to use it as a towel. Gorgeous puzzle!

  6. I am so sorry you're still in pain Rose, it is such a long process of recovery. Your puzzle is pretty, it looks a hard one to do. Your tea towel with the rooster is lovely.

Hope you're feeling better. I rally love that towel. Of course, I'm partial to chickens/roosters and I like the sun coming up. Nice work.
